Project introduction

PM2.5 refers to particulate matter in the atmosphere with a diameter less than or equal to 2.5 microns, also known as particulate matter that can enter the lungs. PM2.5 comes from human activities itself, such as coal burning, industrial dust, garbage incineration, car exhaust, kitchen smoke, and road dust. Judging from these sources, PM2.5 can adsorb heavy metal oxides and even carcinogens such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. After being inhaled into the human body, it will directly enter the bronchial tubes, interfere with gas exchange in the lungs, cause asthma, bronchitis and other diseases, cause major pollution to the environment, and bring hidden dangers to human health. According to the air quality report released by the Jiading District Environmental Protection Bureau in the past thirty days (from November 15, 2017 to December 15, 2017), it can be found that PM2.5 was the primary pollutant on nine days, accounting for 30% of the total. It can be seen that the monitoring of PM2.5 is to effectively assess the ambient air quality, study the causes, and study and take effective treatment measures based on the causes to ultimately reduce or eliminate pollution.

In order to strengthen the operation, maintenance and management of portable PM2.5 monitoring points in Jiading District, the owner and user of this project, namely the Shanghai Jiading District Environmental Monitoring Station, plans to commission 100 Beijing Panchai MicroairTM A105 micro air quality sensor monitor equipment for one year, and is required to provide 13 gridded air quality monitoring data analysis reports (including air quality monthly reports and annual reports) in Jiading District, Shanghai.

In recent years,Multiweal has completed more than 100 online automatic environmental monitoring system cases, including factory exhaust gas online monitoring systems, automatic water quality testing stations, smart environmental protection platforms, water treatment cases, etc., and has joined hands with Mountwell to jointly build an ecological environment.
