The fluoride ion sensor is a digital online ISE (ion selective electrode) sensor, designed for continuous real-time monitoring of free fluoride ion content in water. It adopts high-precision LaF₃ single crystal sensitive membrane, features high selectivity, strong antiinterference performance and reagentfree operation


Working Principle
Based on Nernst equation, the LaF₃ crystal membrane produces a stable potential difference corresponding to fluoride ion activity. Built-in temperature sensor realizes automatic temperature compensation. The internal circuit converts analog signal into digital signal, output via RS485 Modbus RTU.

Hydroxide ion (OH⁻): control pH within 5–8
Metal ions (Al³⁺ / Fe³⁺): mask with complexing agent
High salinity: adjust ionic strength to reduce measurement deviation
Maintenance Instructions
Perform two-point regular calibration with standard fluoride solution.
Gently clean the crystal membrane with soft cloth to remove dirt.
Keep the sensing membrane wet; avoid long-term drying.
Replace the sensitive membrane regularly in harsh water quality.
