Inline turbidity sensor is an in-line installed water quality monitoring device, directly mounted on pipeline to continuously and real-time measure water turbidity, reflecting suspended solids, sediment, algae and particulate matter content in liquid.
MTW-TU5000 Inline Turbidity Sensor is a professional pipe-installed water quality probe for real-time continuous turbidity measurement.Based on infrared scattering optical principle, it delivers stable and accurate NTU data, effectively avoiding light interference.
This inline sensor features compact inline structure, easy pipeline threading and installation. It supports automatic temperature compensation, standard RS485 MODBUS-RTU digital output and optional 4-20mA analog signal, compatible with controllers, PLC and upper monitoring system.
With anti-fouling optical window and corrosion-resistant housing, it realizes long-term stable operation in water supply pipelines, filtration systems and industrial process pipelines.

Working Principle
- Main adopt infrared 90° scattered light method / 75° scattered light principle
- Comply with ISO 7027 standard
- Infrared light emits into water; suspended particles scatter light, the receiver detects scattered light intensity and converts it into turbidity value
- Built-in temperature compensation, eliminate temperature interference
Key Features
- Pipe inline installation, no water tank required
- Fully submerged in pipeline, continuous online monitoring
- Anti-fouling design, optional automatic cleaning brush
- High precision, long-term stable operation
- Corrosion-resistant, suitable for industrial harsh water
