This industrial effluent COD sensor is specially designed for high-concentration, complex industrial wastewater, adopting UV254 absorption spectroscopy with anti-interference algorithm and wide measuring range. It features reagent-free, digestion-free, fast response, high stability and strong anti-fouling performance. With built-in temperature compensation, IP68 waterproof structure and RS485 Modbus-RTU output, it is widely used in chemical, petrochemical, textile, printing & dyeing, papermaking, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and other industrial effluent monitoring, and can be seamlessly connected with PLC, DCS and MTW series controllers.


This industrial effluent COD sensor is a heavy-duty online monitoring probe dedicated to high-organic, complex-matrix industrial wastewater. It uses the UV254 absorption spectroscopy principle combined with an advanced multi-wavelength anti-interference algorithm, effectively reducing interference from turbidity, color, suspended solids and various chemical additives in industrial effluent, ensuring accurate and stable measurement in harsh wastewater environments. The optical method requires no chemical reagents and no digestion process, achieving real-time online monitoring with a response time of less than 30 seconds, greatly reducing operating costs and environmental pollution.
The optical window is made of high-strength sapphire with an anti-fouling and anti-scaling coating, effectively reducing contamination and extending maintenance intervals in high-sludge industrial wastewater. Built-in high-precision temperature sensor realizes automatic temperature compensation (0–60℃), correcting measurement drift caused by water temperature changes. The whole machine adopts digital signal conditioning and electrical isolation design, with strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability, supporting stable long-distance data transmission via RS485 Modbus-RTU.
The probe housing is made of corrosion-resistant PPS/PEEK engineering plastic and 316L stainless steel with anti-abrasion treatment, suitable for long-term submerged/pipeline installation in harsh industrial effluent. It supports standard solution calibration (phthalic acid potassium hydrogen standard solution) and field comparison calibration, with calibration data power-off storage and fault self-diagnosis functions. It is an ideal tool for industrial effluent compliance control, process optimization and early warning of organic pollution accidents.
